Marriage License – State of Minnesota

Minnesota is one of the easiest places to get a marriage license. There is no waiting periods and from the day you walk out of that courthouse or county office it is good for 6 months. I’m often asked “Do you have to get your license from the county you are getting married in?” The answer is “Nope”

You can get your license from any county office or courthouse in Minnesota. It will be valid in the entire State of Minnesota! Your coordinator/Officiant will get the license from you, we will make sure it if filled out properly, get witnesses signatures and possibly the couple as well. Then we send it back to the county it came from. After a few weeks the couple should be receiving a certified copy of the marriage license from the State of Minnesota
